Looking for something new to do? We’ve got an engaging programme of family-friendly events all year round. From wild crafts and trails, to outdoor theatre and holiday activities, there’s something for all ages.

Great food

The Stables and Caffe + Gelato both serve a great selection of food perfect for children, including sandwiches, cake and hot food. There’s lots of space for buggies and high chairs ~ and of course we have delicious locally-made ice-cream!

Play areas

We have two children's play areas. Just before the Visitor Reception, find our play area for 7 and under, which is kitted out with a little slide, playhouses and woodchip underfoot for a soft landing. Children of all ages will enjoy our natural play area overlooking the Charcoal Burner's Camp in the lush landscape garden.

Unlimited visits

Visit as many times as you like all year round with our great value family membership, from just £4.92 a month. Whether it’s a winter walk, lazing on the lawn in the sunshine or popping into the gallery, membership is perfect solution for family time, whatever the season.
