We're excited to announce the relaunch The Artist's Apprentice Trail for 2021!
Visit Hestercombe at any time between now and the 31st October to take part in this arty trail, where young artists will colour in a masterpiece of their own as they follow in the footsteps of the great Coplestone Warre Bampfylde, designer of Hestercombe's landscape gardens.
When their masterpiece is complete, they will graduate as a Master Artist and even have a certificate to prove it!
Later in the year, we’ll use all of the drawings to recreate one huge version of Coplestone’s painting and display it at Hestercombe.
There'll be an exciting new trail featuring Coplestone every school holiday until November. Whenever you come to do a trail, bring your Artist's Apprentice Trail booklet to the Ticket Office to receive a stamp - Collect all the stamps to win your own very special prize!*
*One prize per trail
Trail price is £2.50 per child, plus standard gardens admission (Hestercombe members go free).
Includes an exciting activity trail, unique wooden artist's palette, a pack of colouring pencils, and a prize for those who collect every stamp throughout the year.
Trail and admission tickets are available via the Hestercombe website.
