This event and discussion explores contexts for the exhibition, beginning with the word residence, and related terms including residue and resonance. Residing in landscape is at the heart of the exhibition and the notion of residence opens conversations about artist residencies, making art in response to being in particular places as well as broader themes of migration and habitation and more abstract ideas. Contributors include Joy Sleeman, Dr Ella S. Mills, Ruth Gooding, Onya McCausland, Rebecca Partridge and Damian Taylor.
