The Lighter Side
A photographic journey through joy at Hestercombe
Join Claire Greenslade, Hestercombe's Head Gardener, for a private walk around the gardens.
From Thursday 24th April the Stables Restaurant will be closed while refurbishment work takes place. The Gardens, House, book shop and plant sales are open daily as usual. Self serve tea and coffee is available in the courtyard.
Apologies for the inconvenience this will cause but something exciting is on the way... from the 1st of May, under new ownership, 'The Stables Hospitality' will open 7 days a week. For all enquiries please see www.thestableshospitality.com
This event is fully booked
Claire will share insight in to the current growing season, highlights of both the formal and landscape gardens as well as upcoming developments at Hestercombe.
This event will begin with a short introduction from Claire, after which she will accompany a small group on a private walk around the gardens. A cream tea will be served in Stables Restaurant after the walk ends.
Garden entry is included in the cost of your ticket, as is a cream tea for one (including one scone and a tea or coffee).
The walk will follow an accessible route through the gardens, but please wear clothing suited to the weather and for a garden walk. Find out more about accessibility in our gardens here.
