Latest update: Friday 30th April 2021
Hestercombe Gardens is open daily for visits
We are delighted to return to being fully open for visits from members and non-members. Bookings for the gardens must be made before arriving via the Hestercombe website.
Visits can now be made to the Plant Centre and Café without making a booking ~ just turn up between 10am and 4.30pm.
We are open daily (7 days a week), from 10am - 6pm (last entry 4.30pm).
Tickets will be released every fortnight on a Friday morning (Fridays 7th May, 21st May and so on).
Not a Hestercombe member? Join our family and take advantage of a range of exclusive member benefits ~ sign up via our membership page.
Indoor catering, and Hestercombe House and Gallery, will all reopen from Monday 17th May (please note ~ this is subject to change, depending on Government restrictions).
The Hestercombe Gift Shop, and Secondhand Bookshop, located within Hestercombe House since September 2020, are open daily from 11am - 5pm (gardens admission required).
Further updates
Whilst we've been closed, we have taken the opportunity to improve visitors' experience on site, including the creation of a new cafe facility in the location of the former Hestercombe Gift Shop, and refurbishment of the Stables Cafe. As work on this continues, we are serving a limited range of food and drink from the south side of the Bampfylde Hall (access is via the gardens, and down the Daisy Steps). We should have some more updates and photos of the new cafe space for you soon.
Please note:
Further updates on Hestercombe's reopening will be published online, by email to our members and via Facebook and Twitter.
