Winners of the Gazette Garden Makeover competition were announced today in the Gazette.

Catherine and Mike Chilcott, from Minehead, could not believe their luck when their names were drawn out of the hat as the winners of a £500 garden makeover. Not only will they have the money to spend but the prize includes the time and skills of the Hestercombe Head Gardeners, Claire Reid and Ben Knight as well!

The new competition run as a partnership between the Hestercombe Gardens Trust and the Somerset County Gazette attracted an enormous number of entrants all eager to win the star garden makeove prize. Runners up will enjoy spending vouchers in the stylish Hestercombe Gardens Shop & Plant Centre.

Marion Troman, Jo Elworthy, Tony Gregg, Samantha Smith and Mary and Rob Burgess
